Airbags - A few CT5 owners received a ‘Service Safety Restraint System' message on their dashboard. When owners took their vehicles to the dealership, they stated that the airbag sensor needs to be replaced. However, due to the unavailability of replacement parts, the cars were left hanging without repairs. This can be a serious safety concern, as there have been complaints from customers for the previous year’s model related to the airbags not deploying.
Structure - Questions have been raised on the CT5’s build quality. A few owners reported that the transmission mount snubber was out of place. This can lead to excessive vibration and noise, which is quite embarrassing for a luxury sedan.
