Overview

The 2016 Acura ILX makes for an excellent contender in the compact sedan class. With 6 trims on offer, the Acura ILX has a base MSRP of $27,900, with prices going all the way up to MSRP $34,890, and competes directly with the Mazda 3, the Honda Civic , and the Audi A3. Only a 2.4L Inline-4 engine is offered, mated to an 8-Speed Automatic transmission. Together, they produce 201 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque.

Accelerating from 0-60 in 6.8 seconds, the ILX maintains a combined fuel economy of 29 MPG. Acura offers the ILX in 6 stunning colors, with the Graphite Luster Metallic being a particular favorite of ours.

Buying Advice

With so many packages to choose from, our recommendation is the Premium Package. The premium package has a base price of $29,900 and is packed with a long list of standard safety and convenience features. Some of those features include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, a four-way power passenger seat, driver memory settings, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, an 8-inch upper information display, and a seven-speaker audio system with HD radio. The premium package is easily the best value for money package offered for the 2016 Acura ILX
