Overview

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class sedan makes for an excellent contender in the subcompact sedan. With just one trim on offer, the Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class has an MSRP of $32,050, with prices going all the way up to an MSRP of $34,050 for the 4MATIC variant. The CLA-Class competes directly with the Buick Verano, the Acura ILX and the Audi A3. Only a 2.0L Turbocharged Inline 4 engine is offered, mated to a 7-speed Shiftable Automatic transmission. Together, they produce 208 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 5.8 seconds, the CLA-Class maintains a combined fuel economy of 27 MPG. Mercedes-Benz offers the CLA-Class in 9 stunning colors, with the Polar Silver Metallic being a particular favorite of ours.

Buying Advice

The 2016 CLA-Class sedan is available in one trim that offers many standard features. There's also a good number of packages, of which we recommend the Sport Package ($4,000) which adds a more aggressive-looking body add-on, 18-inch wheels, and drilled front brake rotors with painted calipers.
