The 2016 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 63 S Sedan makes for an excellent contender in the midsize sedan segment. With standalone trim on offer, the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 63 S has a base MSRP of $107,800. It competes directly with the Audi RS 7 Sedan and the BMW M6 Gran Coupe Sedan. The Porsche Panamera Turbo Sedan is also a potential rival with a considerably more expensive price tag. Only a 5.5L Twin-Turbo V8 engine is offered, mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. Together, they produce 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 3.6 seconds, the AMG CLS 63 S maintains a combined fuel economy of 18 MPG. Mercedes-Benz offers the AMG CLS 63 S in 15 stunning colors, with the Obsidian Black Metallic being a particular favorite of ours.
