Competing in the compact SUV segment, the 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser SUV goes up against other notable names in the class, like the Jeep Wrangler, and the Nissan Xterra. With just one trim, the FJ Cruiser starts off at a base price of MSRP of $25,790. Not all trims are built equal, as there are two transmissions on offer. The standard engine is a 4.0L V6 engine rated for 260 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission. With this engine, the FJ Cruiser gives you a towing capacity of 5,000 pounds and takes 7.5 seconds for a 0-60 MPH run. An optional 6-speed manual transmission is also offered if you opt for the full-time 4WD version.
