The 2021 Mercedes-Benz AMG GLB 35 is a proud member of the compact SUV segment, locking horns with cars like the BMW X2, the Audi Q3, the Genesis GV80, and the Volvo XC40. With standalone trim, the AMG GLB 35 carries an MSRP of $49,500. Its 2.0L Turbocharged Inline-4 and an 8-Speed Dual-Clutch Automatic transmission give the SUV 302 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. With that, it manages a 0-60 of 5.1 seconds and boasts a towing capacity of 3,689 pounds. Moving to fuel economy, the AMG GLB 35 manages to get a combined EPA rating of 23 MPG, a poor number for the class, giving its rivals an edge. It also has a ground clearance of 4.8 inches with a maximum load. 

Buying Advice

The AMG GLB 35 doesn’t lack standard amenities but we would still suggest the Premium Package and Driver Assistance Package. The former offers a 10.25-inch instrument gauge cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen, hands-free power rear gate, and more. Meanwhile, the latter package includes lane change assist, steering assist, active brake assist with cross-traffic function, and more. In standalone options, a power glass panoramic roof and heated ventilated front seats seem reasonable.
