The 2023 Mazda CX-9 Signature variant comes with a 2.5L turbocharged Inline-4 engine and can generate up to 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. The car goes from 0-60 in 7.2 seconds, which is the exact number given by Motortrend.

The 2023 Mazda CX-9 Carbon Edition features a turbocharged 2.5L Inline-4 engine that makes a total of 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. The SUV does 0-60 mph in 7.2 seconds on a straight line courtesy of the 6-speed automatic

2023 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring

The pricer Grang Touring variant also boasts the same 227-hp 4-cylinder engine and hits the 0-60 mph mark 0.1 seconds faster than the Carbon Edition. Car and Driver also support the 7.1-second acceleration claim.

The Mazda CX-9 Touring from the 2022 model year does not have any powertrain changes and delivers the same 227 horsepower output with the AWD drivetrain setup. The car boasts a 7.6-second 0-60 mph sprint despite Mazda’s 8.2-second official acceleration claim. 

2021 Mazda CX9 Grand Touring

The 2021 Mazda CX9 Grand Touring trim option is powered by a turbocharged Inline-4 engine that churns out 227 horsepower. Moreover, the car does 0-60 mph in 8.2 seconds, whereas, Car & Driver disclosed a 7.1-second timing with the Grand Touring.
