Overview
Belonging to the midsize SUV segment, the 2024 Tesla Model X carries all the qualities of a true electric vehicle. Expected to start off at an MSRP of $100,000, Tesla offers you 2 trims for the Model X. For the price, it competes with the Mercedes Benz EQS SUV, the BMW iX SUV, and the Rivian R1S SUV. Not all trims are built equal though, as with 2 powertrain options available, the choice between trims gets a little more exciting. The base trim on the Tesla Model X offers you a dual-motor setup. This gives you a power output of 670 horsepower, capable of achieving a 0-60 time of 3.8 seconds from an AWD setup. With this, you get a 100-kWh battery rated for 348 miles of range. The second powertrain here is a tri-motor setup rated for 1,020 horsepower. It manages a 0-60 of 2.5 seconds. The battery here is the same 100-kWh, getting a range of 333 miles. If these were not enough choices for you, the 6 equally attractive colors are bound to make your decision a little more confusing.
