Overview
Belonging to the fullsize sedan segment, the 2024 Tesla Model S Sedan carries all the qualities of a true electric vehicle. Starting off at an MSRP of $100,000, the Tesla offers you 2 trims for the Model S. For the price, it competes with the Mercedes Benz EQS sedan, the Porsche Taycan, and the Lucid Air. Not all trims are built equal though, as with 2 powertrain options available, the choice between trims gets a little more exciting. The base trim of the Tesla Model S offers you a dual-motor setup. This gives you a power output of 670 horsepower, capable of achieving a 0-60 time of 3.1 seconds from an AWD setup. With this, you get a 100-kWh battery rated for 359 miles of range. The second powertrain here is a tri-motor setup rated at 1020 horsepower. It manages a 0-60 of 1.99 seconds. The battery here is the same 100-kWh, getting a claimed range of 396 miles. If these were not enough choices for you, the 6 equally attractive colors are bound to make your decision a little more confusing.
