Overview
Belonging to the luxury midsize sedan segment, the 2024 Lucid Air carries all the qualities of a true electric vehicle. Starting off at an MSRP of $90,000, Lucid offers you 4 trims for the Air. For the price, it competes with the Tesla Model S, the Porsche Taycan, and the Polestar 5. Not all trims are built equal though, as with four powertrain options available, the choice between trims gets a little more exciting. The base trim of the 2024 Lucid Air offers you a single-motor setup. This gives you a power output of 480 horsepower, capable of achieving a 0-60 time of around 4 seconds from a single motor setup. With this, you get a 88 kWH battery rated for 406 miles of range. The second powertrain here is a dual motor setup rated for 620 horsepower. It manages a 0-60 of 3.4 seconds. The battery here is the same 88 kWh battery. The most powerful powertrain, however, is the Grand touring performance trim which uses a highly powerful dual motor setup to churn out over 1,050 horsepower and 516 miles of electric range, thanks to a larger 112 kWh battery pack. If these were not enough choices for you, the 6 equally attractive colors are bound to make your decision a little more confusing.
