The basic Taycan has an estimated range of 200 miles with the standard battery, and 225 miles with the larger battery, whereas the base 4S has a claimed range of 199 miles or 227 miles with the larger battery. Every Taycan comes with three years of limitless 30-minute DC charging sessions at Electrify America stations and also unlimited 1-hour AC charging sessions. 

The Porsche Taycan Electric has better city fuel economy in the city as the Audi e-Tron. The most fuel-efficient in a city and on a highway, among the rivals, is the Model S. The ground clearance data of the Taycan Electric, the e-Tron GT, and the Lucid Air is not yet available. Moreover, the Tesla Model S comes with the largest wheelbase, followed by the Model S and e-Tron. All the rivals carry aggressive styling with sleek looks. We liked the slim LED headlights of the Taycan Electric and Lucid Air. The 2023 Porsche Taycan is 500 lbs lighter than the Audi e-Tron GT, but it is on par with the Tesla Model S in this respect.

The 2023 Audi e-Tron GT is more expensive than the Porsche Taycan Electric. It also leads in terms of overall power output. The ride and handling capabilities are similar in both cars. But the Audi e-Tron’s underwhelming cargo space severely falls short in the practicality category. The safety features are loaded in both cars and provide a dependable option as per the brand image. Both sedans look sporty and sleek with their aggressive front faces, but we would prefer Audi e-Tron in this aspect.

The Lucid Air relatively is well-equipped in terms of features, but Porsche offers more customization choices. The 2023 Porsche Taycan Electric also offers a more appealing exterior design. Also, the Lucid Air is slightly more expensive than the rival and offers a better power output. The performance delivery is also better offered by Lucid Air. Furthermore, the Air is more economical and comes with a functional interior.

The 2023 Porsche Taycan Electric is an attractive car with several impressive tweaks to woo customers. The car also scores highly for practicality and build quality, though the latter is understandable given its sky-touching price even at the entry level. On the downside, the car’s range of travel is subpar as per the segment. The electric powertrain gives out excellent power delivery which is at par with the cars in this segment.
