Overview

The 2017 Lexus RC 300 Coupe makes for an excellent contender in the compact coupe. With standalone trim on offer, the Lexus RC 300 has a base MSRP of $42,770. It competes directly with the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe, the BMW 4 Series Coupe, and the Audi A5 Coupe. Only a 3.5L V6 engine is offered, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Together, they produce 255 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 6.3 seconds, the RC 300 maintains a combined fuel economy of 21 MPG. Lexus offers the RC 300 in 10 stunning colors, with the Atomic Silver being a particular favorite of ours.

Buying Advice

The RC 300 Coupe comes with only one drivetrain: an all-wheel drive system. Furthermore, it features heated power front-row seats, a 10-speaker sound system, and 60/40 pattern rear seats in the cabin. Meanwhile, LED headlights and 18-inch wheels with a new finish are outside. That said, our recommendation is the Luxury Package worth $2,700 which includes a heated steering wheel, power tilt/telescoping steering column with memory function, lane change assist, and more.
