Overview

Competing in the compact sedan segment, the 2017 Lexus IS 350 is a direct competitor to the Volvo S60, the Cadillac ATS, and the Alfa Romeo Giulia. With standalone trim, the IS 350 starts off at an MSRP of $41,370. It is offered with a 3.5L V6 and an 8-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission depending on the drivetrain, producing 306 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. Through this powertrain, the IS 350 manages a 0-60 of 5.6 seconds and a combined fuel economy of 22 MPG.

Buying Advice

For better stability and handling, the IS 350 is better off with the all-wheel-drive system that brings a 6-speed automatic gearbox. We also recommend the $1,735 Navigation System Package along with the $3,985 Luxury Package. Having said that, there is also a more athletic version of the IS 350 with F Sport specifications which is reviewed separately.
