The 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque is a compact SUV pitched against the likes of the BMW X3 and the Audi Q5. This snazzy-looking compact luxury SUV is for those whole do not quite need the stately Range Rover but would like a smaller, fun-to-drive yet luxurious and stylish avatar of the OG Range Rover. As standard, the Evoque comes equipped with a 2-liter, turbocharged, 4-cylinder unit that makes 246 horses and 269 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. All-wheel drive is offered as standard while with top-spec R-Dynamic HST trim level, you get a hybrid powertrain that bumps up power and torque figures to 296 hp and 295 lb-ft respectively. The downside of the Evoque is that it is dimensionally smaller than its rivals and even if it offers passenger space and comfort as good as some of its rivals, it sacrifices luggage space and takes a hit on the practicality front.

The numbers, and figures all seem pretty interesting and the Evoque is also capable of doing some mild off-roading although it is largely an urban machine. However, one area in which Land Rover hasn’t always been very impressive is reliability. Land Rovers have always had a reputation for being unreliable and owners have always faced problems with it. Although the British marquee has tried hard to make more reliable vehicles, some of its products are still plagued with problems. Is it the same with the 2022 Evoque? Does it have any major problems? Or is it a reliable machine to put your money on? We shall find that out in this article compiled specifically to talk about the problems of the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque.

2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque User Complaints and Problems

There are no complaints and problems reported by owners on the NHTSA website and we shall update this space once there are some reported. However, there are a few common issues with the Evoque that owners have reported with its previous year’s model. Owners have reported troubles with the speedometer and odometer and have said that they showed inaccurate readings due to some software issues. Some owners have also had troubles with defective windshield water while others have reported leaking fuel rail end caps. Another known flaw with the Evoque was the tire pressure monitoring system readings. These are some of the commonly known problems with the older Range Rover Evoque models and we hope Land Rover has fixed them with the 2022 model.

2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Recalls

Should you buy the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque?

While the older models of the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque have had a few problems, none of them have been all that severe and the 2022 model doesn’t seem to have any major issues so far. Land Rover hasn’t made any recalls either and that means they haven’t identified any major flaws with the vehicle either. The 2021 model hasn’t had any recall either and there haven’t been any major problems with the older model of the SUV as well. We think that the 2022 Evoque would prove to a be pretty reliable buy and won’t give you any major problems. So has Land Rover finally managed to improve its image on the reliability front? We think yes. Owners of the Evoque haven’t reported any major troubles with the SUV and that just tells how much Land Rover has improved in terms of quality and reliability in the past few years.
