The 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque is a compact SUV pitched against the likes of the BMW X3 and the Audi Q5. This snazzy-looking compact luxury SUV is for those whole do not quite need the stately Range Rover but would like a smaller, fun-to-drive yet luxurious and stylish avatar of the OG Range Rover. As standard, the Evoque comes equipped with a 2-liter, turbocharged, 4-cylinder unit that makes 246 horses and 269 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. All-wheel drive is offered as standard while with top-spec R-Dynamic HST trim level, you get a hybrid powertrain that bumps up power and torque figures to 296 hp and 295 lb-ft respectively. The downside of the Evoque is that it is dimensionally smaller than its rivals and even if it offers passenger space and comfort as good as some of its rivals, it sacrifices luggage space and takes a hit on the practicality front.
The numbers, and figures all seem pretty interesting and the Evoque is also capable of doing some mild off-roading although it is largely an urban machine. However, one area in which Land Rover hasn’t always been very impressive is reliability. Land Rovers have always had a reputation for being unreliable and owners have always faced problems with it. Although the British marquee has tried hard to make more reliable vehicles, some of its products are still plagued with problems. Is it the same with the 2022 Evoque? Does it have any major problems? Or is it a reliable machine to put your money on? We shall find that out in this article compiled specifically to talk about the problems of the 2022 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque.
