Lamborghini is known for making some brilliant and thrilling cars such as the Sesto Elemento, the Aventador, the Gallardo, and the Diablo. The brand wanted to implement its rich and long experience of making high-performance coupes for making a high-performance SUV and came along the Urus back in 2018. The SUV arrived with a similar design language to its low-slung stablemates while it featured a rather compact 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 under its hood, a first attempt of the manufacturer to move away from using the iconic V12s and the V10s.

The 2022 Lamborghini Urus arrives with no updates. Despite the thrilling performance on tap, the vehicle is almost as practical as a regular SUV with plenty of features onboard, apart from the gas-guzzling aspect, and doesn’t mind getting its tires dirty on a mild off-road track either. The base price of the 2022 Urus is rather steep at $230,000 which puts it to compete with the likes of the Bentley Bentayga, the Porsche Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT, and the Aston Martin DBX.

Lamborghini Urus user complaints and problems

In general, Lamborghini vehicles are not known for any reliability issues but are known for offering great performance and thrill. The brand’s entry into the SUV space placed it among the list of luxury utility vehicle manufacturers and, like its other cars, the Urus stands as quite a reliable vehicle from the brand too. Since its launch in 2018, the SUV has faced absolutely zero complaints and it has received nothing but accolades even to this day as well.

2022 Lamborghini Urus recalls

The Lamborghini Urus did face a total of three recalls where the manufacturer was aware of the concerned parts might pose a problem with the vehicle in the future. Unlike other brands that sell mass-produced vehicles, Lamborghini usually has a limited dealership network and the low number of sales make it relatively easier and quicker to execute the necessary fixes to complete the recalls. The details of the recalls put out by the Italian brand are mentioned in the following table.

What model year of the Lamborghini Urus to avoid?

The Lamborghini Urus is a brilliant performance SUV by default and is revered by plenty of enthusiasts globally as well. By clocking the highest number of sales in the Italian brand’s history of production, the Urus finds enough takers on the used car lot too. Given the tingling performance of the SUV that can also double up as a luxury chariot over regular driving conditions, it is a hard-to-resist vehicle. After taking a look at the NHTSA reports of the Urus, we can say confidently that you won’t need to skip or avoid any particular model year of the vehicle.
