The 2023 Jeep Renegade will be basically available in four trims, Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. The Renegade Sport comes in standard with a front-wheel drive, but an optional all-wheel drive is also available. The Latitude and Limited get AWD as standard, while a more off-road focussed Trailhawk comes with four-wheel drive. The transmission duty is carried out by a nine-speed automatic unit in all the models.

The 2023 Renegade comes equipped with many features like push-button ignition, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry, automatic headlights, and many more across various trims. The Trailhawk is equipped with all-terrain tires and a raised suspension for better off-road capability. There is no official confirmation regarding the release date. However, the 2023 Jeep Renegade release date is expected to be at the end of September this year.

The 2023 Jeep Renegade has the shortest wheelbase in the segment. The longest in-class wheelbase is offered by Volkswagen Taos at 105.9 inches. The tallest in the class is the Renegade followed by the Taos and HR-V. respectively. The ground clearance of the trims other than the Trailhawk is also not the best in class, competition like the Mazda CX30 offers ground clearance that is even near to the Trailhawk trim.

The noisy power train and slow shifting transmission are its only drawbacks, rest of the areas, it outperforms the Jeep.

If you are a Jeep enthusiast and want an affordable Jeep surely you can choose the Renegade, but the competition has got much more to offer in this price bracket when the Jeep offers them as optional. With the aging looks and high price point, the Renegade is definitely not a value-for-money car, but it has got that macho looks and road presence that some buyers find very appealing. The offroad capabilities of the car are the only thing that gives it a slight edge over the competitors but that alone won't make the car a worthy pick. So, if you are an ardent Jeep fan, then you can go for the 2023 Renegade.
