The 2017 Infiniti QX50 is a proud member of the compact SUV segment, locking horns with SUVs like the Acura RDX, the Cadillac XT5, and the Buick Envision. Spread across a single trim, the Infiniti QX50 carries an MSRP of $36,650. Its 3.7L V6 and 7-Speed Automatic transmission give the SUV 267 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. With that, it manages a 0-60 of 5.5 seconds and boasts a towing capacity of 3,000 pounds. Moving to fuel economy, the Infiniti QX50 manages to get a combined EPA rating of 20 MPG a poor number for the class, giving its rivals an edge. It also has a ground clearance of 6.9 inches. 

Buying Advice

The 2017 Infiniti QX50 is an midsize luxury SUV, that has a very performance-oriented outlook. Unfortunately, there is only one trim and you are stuck with that thirsty (but impressive) V6. The interfaces are also outdated with only luxury being the only other positive for the 2017 QX50. Hence, the Acura RDX could be something else you would like to consider, it’s more of an all-rounder.
