Overview

The 2010 Ford Tauras is a fullsize sedan offered in 4 trims, starting off at a base MSRP of $25,170. For that price, it mainly competes with the Chevrolet Impala and Mercury Milan. Between 4 trims, the Tauras offers 2 powertrains. The base engine is a 3.5L V6 making 263 horsepower and 249 lb-ft of torque. If more power is required, there is also a 365 horsepower-making 3.5L turbocharged V6. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed automatic, however, while the base engine is coupled with manual shifters and downshift rev-matching capability, the same for the latter is the paddle shifters. The Tauras reaches 60 mph from zero in 7 seconds on its base engine, which gets pumped up to 5.2 seconds with the 3.5L turbocharged V6. Depending on the powertrain, the Tauras can manage a combined fuel economy between 20 and 22 mpg. While we're on the topic of choices, the 5 striking colors the Tauras comes in really pull you towards itself. The 2010 Ford Taurus Sedan fetches an average price of $13,495. However, an average savings of around $752 can be expected. With around 6,802 units of the Ford Taurus available for purchase, we offer a vast inventory for you to choose from.

Buying Advice

Available in two sets of engines, the 2010 Ford Tauras caters to both types of customers; the first are those who look for an efficient sedan, and the second are the ones who want a thrill. Coming with a spacious cabin, with all comfortable seats, loaded features, and a plush ride quality, the 2010 Tauras is one of the best fullsize sedans out there, in the market. The base engine is not that good to drive, but comes with a manual shifter, and downshift technology, it feels good to have the feel of the performance sedan, although for a thrilling driving experience, you have to get the SHO only, although it’s pricey compared to the market.

              Great Car for small families

Pros - ["Tons of space", "Trunk Space"]

              Cons - ["There's nothing I don't like about it", "There's nothing I don't like about it"]

I own two ford vehicles and the Taurus is the best hands down. It's great for a family or if you're single. It's good on gas and has tons of room. I would recommend this car to anyone that's looking for a sedan. It has a lot of trunk space to fit anything from strollers to groceries to a cooler for game day tailgates. Over all it's the perfect car for small families.
