Overview

The 2010 Ford Expedition SUV is a large, full-size SUV that is built to cater to the needs of families and individuals who require a vehicle with ample space and power. This SUV is capable of accommodating up to eight passengers comfortably and offers an impressive array of features, making it a popular choice for those who value comfort and convenience. The 2010 Ford Expedition SUV competes with other full-size SUVs such as the Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon, and Toyota Sequoia. While each of these SUVs has its strengths and weaknesses, the Expedition stands out for its spacious interior, solid performance, and impressive array of features.

The 2010 Ford Expedition SUV is available in four trim levels: XLT, Eddie Bauer, Limited, and King Ranch. Each trim level offers a unique set of features and options, allowing drivers to choose the one that best fits their needs and budget.

The 2010 Ford Expedition SUV is powered by a 5.4-liter V8 engine that produces 310 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and is available in either two-wheel or four-wheel drive. The Expedition SUV is known for its smooth, comfortable ride, responsive steering, and solid handling.

Despite its size and power, the 2010 Ford Expedition SUV achieves respectable fuel economy figures. The two-wheel drive version of the SUV achieves an EPA-estimated 14 mpg city and 20 mpg highway, while the four-wheel drive version gets 13 mpg city and 18 mpg highway.

The interior of the 2010 Ford Expedition SUV is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for passengers and cargo. The base XLT trim level comes with cloth upholstery, while higher trims offer leather upholstery and additional features such as heated and cooled seats, a power-adjustable steering wheel, and a rear-seat entertainment system.

The exterior of the 2010 Ford Expedition SUV is sleek and modern, with a bold grille and prominent fenders. The SUV is available in a range of colors, including Tuxedo Black, Ingot Silver, and White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat.

The 2010 Ford Expedition SUV is equipped with a range of safety features, including anti-lock brakes, stability control, and a suite of airbags. Higher trim levels offer additional safety features such as a rearview camera and rear parking sensors.

Overall, the 2010 Ford Expedition SUV is a solid choice for those in the market for a full-size SUV. With its spacious interior, solid performance, and an impressive array of features, it offers a comfortable and convenient ride for families and individuals alike. While it may face competition from other full-size SUVs, the Expedition stands out for its combination of space, power, and features, making it a reliable and practical choice for those in need of a large and capable vehicle.

Buying Advice

For 2010, we would recommend getting the Eddie Bauer Edition as it has the best features and the most premium look among all the trims. For the added price, you get 18-inch wheels, gold body cladding and running boards, a power-folding third-row seat, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, an upgraded sound system, Sync multimedia voice control system, rear parking sensors, and many more features that make using the 2010 Expedition on a daily basis easier. We also liked the Oxford White, Tuxedo Black Metallic, and White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat exterior paint options for the SUV.
