Overview

The 2014 Chrysler Town & Country is one of the best midsize vans available in the market today. The Chrysler comes packed with class-leading features and upscale interior construction. Chrysler has made sure to keep the performance and cabin of the Town & Country as lively as possible but unfortunately, the exterior design gets no change and has a rather dated look when compared to its rivals.

The 2014 Chrysler Town & Country comes standard with a 3.6L V6 engine that produces 283hp and 260 lb-ft torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission but the shifts do lean towards the rough side, especially on the lower gears. The van starts at a price of $31,760, which is competitive when compared to its rivals like the Nissan Quest, the Honda Odyssey, and the Toyota Sienna.

Buying Advice

Even though it’s one of the best offerings in this segment with premium interior, the Chrysler Town & Country does not feel refined while driving. The major highlight of this van is its practical and versatile interior with its signature stow ‘n go seats that provide a completely flat surface when folded, making it ideal for transporting larger objects and cargo. The gas mileage is one segment where the rivals outperform the Chrysler but we still recommend checking this van out and even though the pricing is higher when compared, the Town & Country carries a very distinctive character. However, if basic performance with passenger capacity under a budget is what you’re looking for, rivals like Toyota or Honda are more suitable.
