Overview

In the realm of midsize vans, the 2012 Chrysler Town and Country is a well-known name. Prices go up to MSRP $39,650, with a total of 3 trims being offered. With gorgeous, and in fact quite roomy, interiors, the Town and Country offers seating for up to 7 people. There is a single engine on offer, which is a 3.6L V6, attached to a 6-speed automatic transmission, that makes 283 horsepower, and 260 lb-ft of torque. This returns a combined fuel economy of 20 MPG. Despite a curb weight of 4,652 pounds, this engine feels potent enough. Chrysler offers a decent amount of practical as well as cosmetic features, further increasing the prospects of the Town and Country among competitors like the Honda Odyssey, the Nissan Quest, and the Toyota Sienna.

Buying Advice

For those buyers who want things minimal, the base trim would suit all the needs for a pretty decent price tag but stepping up the trim ladder to the mid-level Touring L trim would be more plausible, as it includes second- and third-row window shades, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, remote ignition, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, auto-dimming outside mirrors, and heated front seats to enhance the comfort levels by a noticeable amount. Other than that, you can also opt for features like a sunroof, a power-folding third-row seat, an upgraded center console, and a power-folding third-row seat.

Pros - ["It's very roomie for my family.", "Love the leather seats"]

Cons - ["That it doesn't have a sun roof lol", "Doesn't have heated seats"]

My minivan has 250,000 original miles and runs great...she's had her usual wear and tare but she gets me where me n my family need to go. I love the room it has to fit my family comfortably. I also love that it's leather interior and easy to clean. I highly recommend this vehicle to any mother with children.
