Overview

The 2012 Cadillac CTS V makes for an excellent contender in the midsize sedan class. With just one trim on offer, the Cadillac CTS V has a base MSRP of $63,215, competing directly with the more expensive rivals like the Mercedes Benz E63 AMG and the Jaguar XFR. Only a 6.2 L V8 engine is offered, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Also available is a 6-speed automatic transmission as a no-cost option. Together, they produce 556 horsepower and 551 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 4.3 seconds, the CTS V maintains a combined fuel economy of 16 MPG. Cadillac offers the CTS V in 8 stunning colors, with the Opulent Blue being our particular favorite.
