The 2020 Audi A5 Coupe comes in three different trims. The base Premium trim has got all the basic needs covered. The mid-level Premium Plus offers a little more, whereas the high-end Prestige trim has truly intriguing features. Starting from $42,000, all the trims have the same standard technical specifications, while the exterior, interior, and a few aesthetic changes can be observed as the hierarchy proceeds. Which trim should you buy?

It does not matter which trim you choose, especially in the 2020 Audi A5 lineup since all the trims are plentifully equipped. The 2020 Audi A5 Coupe drives using a 2.0L TFSI turbocharged in-line 4-cylinder engine that is standard across the lineup. The engine manages to provide 248 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. How well does the 2020 Audi A5 Coupe handle?

The Audi A5 Coupe has a simple and stable ride quality with a four-wheel independent standard steel suspension. A multi-link mechanism is what joins all of the wheels to the chassis and takes up all the surface irregularities. Moreover, front and rear stabilizer bars are also standard on all the trims. At low speeds, the ride is calm and composed, whereas, at highway speeds, the coupe might get a little rough. The Q60 will have poor braking performance because it has both smaller brakes and the heaviest curb weight.

The 2020 Audi A5 Coupe can carry a maximum of 15.3 gallons in its fuel tank, which is quite a bit low. However, the coupe from Germany has a brilliant engine, and besides providing good power, it also has great MPG numbers. In the city, the estimated fuel economy is 24 MPG, while cruising on the highway would give an impressive 32 MPG. In combined scenarios, the coupe manages to offer 27 MPG, which combined with the 15.3 gallons of fuel tank results in a combined range of 413 miles.

The A5 has got the best MPG numbers but has a very limited fuel tank capacity, which affects the range. The BMW has got the best highway MPG, whereas the other two values are close to the A5, and it is the same with the C 300 Coupe. The Mercedes goes way far because it is equipped with a bigger fuel tank, speaking of which, the Infiniti Q60 offers the best range with the least MPG figures, only because it has got the best fuel tank capacity.

The cabin in the 2020 Audi A5 Coupe has got decent interiors, and the German manufacturer has worked upon the materials as well. In addition to this, the coupe has got many features as standard as well. Starting with the dashboard, the coupe has leatherette interiors with gloss black elements and a wood trim that covers most of the part on the front of the dash and the center console. While detailing is done in satin-finished chrome, the buttons and knobs are placed ergonomically.

The A5 Coupe allows seating for four. Starting from the base trim, the front bucket seats are 8-way power-adjustable heated seats. The new Audi A5 Coupe has a conceptual design; it is very attractive, and at the same time, it does not get too showy. The Q60 has got sporty and strong-looking exteriors, but it does not beat the premium appearance that the Audi A5 has. Talking about interiors, the Q60 focuses more on being sporty and has got heavy bolstered seats while its signature interior styling continues in this coupe as well. A curvy approach to the dashboard might look amusing in front of Audi’s well-placed layout that is decorated with different materials. Having said that, the Q60’s infotainment is a better fit into the cabin but is not as simple to operate as in the Audi.
