Inside this V60 cross-country wagon, the cabin is very well presented. With crisp architecture and minimal design format, the vehicle possesses a sharp look. It mimics the aesthetics of the S60 sedan and the XC60 SUV. The rear side doors are pretty large unlike the front and offer easy access to get in and out of the vehicle. The front seats are nicely padded and hold several adjustments besides the heating function– the climate package keeps the heated steering wheel. Thanks to the elongated length, the rear seats are prosperous and appear with more legroom. Besides the Scandinavian design approach, the controls in the cabin feel a little unconventional and ask the driver to operate a 9-inch touchscreen– even for the basic pieces of stuff. The door panels invite nice quality materials with door handles and a 10-speaker audio system finished in chrome accents. The dashboard is clean and delivers a subtle finish. The vertically mounted touchscreen information holds AC vents on either side unlike other vehicles of Volvo. The controls are fewer physical buttons and mainly relays on the touch screen and are under the reach, but a bit laggy sometimes. The three spokes steering column looks great–especially when finished off in a dual-tone palette. Holds various controls finished in piano black trim and Volvo logo at the center with all chrome.
The Center console unlike the whole theme is minimal and does not feel crowded with ports and buttons. The Center armrest is of a nice height. The vehicle has a bit higher ride approach that aids in lending excellent road visibility. Engine noise sneaks into the cabin without hesitation while keeping the road noise negligible.

2022 RDX from the Acura carries the most lavishing interior space for the passengers in the front and the second rows. The Subaru offers a more spacious interior than that of the Volvo V60. It also styles by carrying the highest amount of cargo capacity behind the first and second rows. Keeping all seats in place, the Audi A4 Allroad is potentially stronger while keeping more cargo than Volvo but stands behind the Acura RDX. The front row of the Volvo is roomier than that of the Audi.

How Intuitive is the 2022 Volvo V60 Infotainment System?
The Sensus infotainment system of this cross-country wagon is significantly laggy before starting to drive the vehicle– which annoys the overall experience of sitting in the car. The system is less intuitive than many of its key rivals. A 9-inch infotainment touchscreen is bright, but not very responsive to touch–supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Most of the controls like climate control mainly rely on the touchscreen. Unless and until the infotainment display wakes up, one can not govern navigation or change the radio station. While driving, it is a bit more convenient. The rear seats get 2 USB charging ports with a wireless phone charger in the front. The 10-speaker audio system sounds satisfactory.
