The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS450 comes standard with a turbocharged 3.0L Inline-6 engine backed up by a 48-volt hybrid system. The SUV makes 375 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque and can go from 0-60 mph in 5.5 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster than KBB’s claimed numbers.

Equipped with a 510-hp twin-turbo 4.0L V8 engine, the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS580 also has a mild hybrid system that results in its 538 lb-ft torque and a 0-60 mph timing of 5.2 seconds. However, KBB has shown the 0-60 acceleration figures for the GLS580 to be 4.7 seconds.

2023 Mercedes-Benz GLS450

The 2023 model year of the GLS450 has the same turbo I-6/mild-hybrid engine type but offers only 362 horsepower with 369 lb-ft of torque. Courtesy of the 9-speed automatic, the Mercedes-Benz SUV takes 6.2 seconds to reach the 0-60 mph mark, whereas KBB says the number to be 5.9 seconds.

The 2021 model year of the Mercedes-Benz GLS450 clocked 5.8 seconds on its 0-60 mph sprint, which is 0.1 seconds faster than the number given by KBB. The mild-hybrid 6-cylinder engine with a turbo enhancement can push out a maximum of 362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque.
