Overview

Competing in the fullsize sedan segment, the 2012 Lexus LS 460 Sedan is a direct competitor to the BMW 7 Series, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Sedan, and the Audi A8 Sedan. The LS 460 Sedan starts off at an MSRP of $67,630, going all the way up to $75,480, with two trims in the lineup. Each trim is offered with a 4.6L V8 engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission, producing 380 horsepower and 367 lb-ft of torque in the RWD version and 357 horsepower and 344 lb-ft of torque with the AWD. Through this powertrain, the LS 460 Sedan manages a 0-60 of 6.4 seconds and a combined fuel economy between 18 and 19 MPG.

Buying Advice

The 2012 Lexus LS 460 Sedan is a powerful and luxurious option in its segment. There are two trims offered and we would recommend getting the base trim along with the Comfort Plus Package that adds a semi-aniline leather-trimmed interior, climate-comfort power rear seats with power-adjustable butterfly headrests, memory settings along with power lumbar massage for outboard seats, and rear-seat side airbags (SRS) over the base spec.
