Overview
For the year 2018, Honda has decided to slightly tweak the front fascia of their in-demand compact hatchback, the Fit. Honda has also introduced a Sport trim this time but it’s just a visual upgrade from the base variant that comprises a sporty body kit, matching orang pinstripe and stitching, gloss black finish, a chrome exhaust tip, and 16-inch alloy wheels.
The 2018 Honda Fit carries a 1.5-liter inline-4 engine that produces 130 hp and 114 lb-ft of torque when equipped with the standard six-speed manual transmission or opting for the CVT will get you 128 hp and 113 lb-ft of torque. When compared to the previous model years, the Honda Fit feels more refined and feature-packed with standard offerings such as keyless entry, rearview camera, and Bluetooth connectivity just to name a few, all for the base price of $16,190. Rivals like the Chevrolet Spark, the Toyota Yaris, and the Kia Rio are strong but just don’t match what the Honda Fit manages to offer in terms of performance and practicality.
