Overview

The 2014 Dodge Viper SRT Coupe makes for an excellent contender in the compact coupe class. With two trims on offer, it has a base MSRP of $84,885, with prices going all the way up to MSRP $107,385, competing directly with the Audi R8 Coupe being the closest, and indirectly competing with the Nissan GT-R which has a V6 and the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 with a V8. Only an 8.4L V10  engine is offered, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Together, they produce 640 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 3.7 seconds, the Dodge Viper maintains a combined fuel economy of 15 MPG. Dodge offers the Viper in 10 stunning colors, with the Adrenaline Red being a particular favorite of ours.

Buying Advice

We would recommend the base; SRT Coupe trim for purchase. It comes standard with features like keyless entry, remote trunk release, power mirrors, and much more. If that is not enough there is an Advanced Aerodynamics package for $4,800 that offers a carbon fiber spoiler and a carbon-made front splitter.
