Part of the fullsize pickup truck segment, the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD Regular Cab competes with the Ram 3500 Regular Cab, the Ford F-350 Super Duty Regular Cab, and the GMC Sierra 3500 HD Regular Cab. A base price of MSRP $35,895 gets you a 6.0L V8 engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Despite the price going up to $44,095, this single powertrain is found in both trims. This engine produces 360 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque, achieving a 0-60 of 6.7 seconds, and is offered as both RWD and 4WD. The Silverado 3500HD Regular Cab offers a single 8 feet cargo bed, with 4,361 pounds of payload capacity respectively. It also offers a healthy towing capacity of 14,500 pounds.

Buying Advice

We think the base model works if you are looking for a work truck to serve your commercial works. However, stepping up to the LT trim would suffice all your needs in a pickup truck by bringing upgraded alloy wheels, 8-inch touchscreen, upgraded driver information display, remote locking and unlocking, cloth upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated mirrors, a remote-locking EZ Lift & Lower tailgate, an upgraded driver information display, remote locking and unlocking and so much more to the table.
