Overview

The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe is a midsize coupe offered in 6 trims, starting off at a base MSRP of $55,495. For that price, it mainly competes with the BMW M4 Coupe and the Dodge Challenger SRT 392. Between 6 trims, the Corvette Stingray offers a single powertrain. It is a 6.2L V8 making 455 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. However, there is a choice between a 7-speed manual transmission and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Having said that, the higher trims with the Z51 package make 460 horsepower with the same powertrain. The Corvette Stingray reaches 60 MPH from zero in 3.7 seconds on its base engine, which happens to be similar to the Z51 trims. The Corvette Stingray can manage a combined fuel economy of 19 MPG. While we're on the topic of choices, the 11 striking colors the Corvette Stingray comes in really pull you towards itself.

Buying Advice

The 2018 Corvette Stingray makes complete sense with the 2LT trim level. This trim would cost you $59,950 and offers improved standard features such as front-view parking cameras, auto-dimming driver side and rearview mirrors, a head-up display, and a cargo shade along with other features
