The 5.3 V8 in Silverado 1500 comes with 355 hp and 383 lb-ft mated to a 10-speed gearbox. C&D tested one with 6.1 seconds 0-60 mph. Our user reached 60 mph in 6.62 seconds with a one-foot roll-out included and with the help of 4WD.
