Overview
Belonging to the compact SUV segment, the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV carries all the qualities of a true electric vehicle. Starting off at an MSRP of $30,000, and going all the way up to $44,000, Chevrolet offers you 5 trims for the Equinox EV. For the price, it competes with the Hyundai Ioniq 5, the Volkswagen ID.4, and the Kia EV6. Not all trims are built equal though, as with 2 powertrain options available, the choice between trims gets a little more exciting. The base trim offers you a single-motor setup. This gives you a power output of 210 horsepower, the performance figures are not out yet, thus the base Equinox EV comes with a front-wheel-drive single-motor setup rated for 250 miles of range on a full charge. The second powertrain here is a dual motor all-wheel drive setup rated for 290 horsepower. It manages a 0-60 of estimated 6 seconds The battery specification is not provided by Chevrolet, however, you can get a range of up to 280 miles. If these were not enough choices for you, the 9 equally attractive colors are bound to make your decision a little more confusing.
