The 2022 BMW i4 is an all-new electrified version of the very popular 3-Series sedan which is sized similarly to the 4-Series Gran Coupe. The i4 is powered by either a single or dual AC synchronous motor which produces 335 hp & 317 lb-ft in its base eDrive40 guise and 536 hp & 586 lb-ft in the i4 M50 trim. The 2022 BMW i4 0-60 is achieved in 4.8 seconds and covers the quarter mile in 13.4 seconds with the standard powertrain.

The BMW i4 M50 does the same in 3.3 seconds and 11.7 seconds respectively. The BMW i4 top speed is limited to 115 MPH for the base model and 127 MPH for the M50 model. For a more real-world experience of the acceleration performance of the 2022 i4, check out the video below by "hotrod182".
