Overview
Belonging to the compact sedan segment, the 2023 Polestar Polestar 2 carries all the qualities of a true electric vehicle. Starting off at MSRP $49,800, going all the way up to $53,300, Polestar offers you 2 trims for the Polestar 2. This puts it in direct competition with cars like the Tesla Model 3, the Kia EV6, and the BMW i4. Not all trims are built equal though, as, with 2 powertrain options available, the choice between trims gets a little more exciting.
The base trim offers you a single-motor setup. This gives you a power output of 231 horsepower, capable of achieving a 0-60 time of 6.8 seconds from a rear-wheel-drive setup. With this, you get a 78-kWh battery rated for 270 miles of range. The second powertrain here is a dual-motor setup rated for 408 horsepower. It manages a 0-60 of 4.1 seconds. The battery here is the same 78 kWh, getting a range of 260 miles. If these were not enough choices for you, the 6 equally attractive colors are bound to make your decision a little more confusing.
