The 2021 Polestar Polestar 2 comes in a well-equipped single trim level. The single trim level Launch Edition starts at an MSRP of $59.900. The standard features with the Polestar 2 include 19-inch alloy wheels, Polestar digital key, dual-zone climate control, interior ambient lighting, 11-inch touchscreen, four USB-C power ports, and a hands-free liftgate. 

It also gets the Plus Packages as standard which includes a 13-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system, adaptive LED headlights, wireless phone charger, heated front and rear seats, heated steering wheel and wiper blades, and a panoramic glass roof. There is also a Pilot Package as standard which includes a host of driver aids and safety tech.

The 2021 Polestar 2 comes in a single trim level and it is already equipped very well. We recommend going for the standard features and packages only, as paying extra for the optional packages does not justify the price. If you are someone who prefers sportier performance then you can go with the optional Performance package which will get you 20-inch forged alloy wheels with summer tires, a high-gloss black roof panel, gold-colored seat belts, Brembo front brakes, and sportier-tuned suspension with Öhlins performance dampers. However, the standard trim also offers impressive performance and you can avoid the package if you want.

This is still the biggest question for most buyers before buying an electric car to know about the range of the car. All the cars in this segment have a pretty good range on offer and the polestar has thought this through. The Polestar 2 manages to score a seriously good range in all the driving conditions. You can expect 96 MPGe in the city, 88 MPGe on the highway, and an impressive combined range of 92 MPGe. The battery pack powering the engine is 78 kWh. The overall range is also very impressive at 233 in combined driving conditions.

The 2021 Polestar 2 offers a really good range in all driving conditions. The car can go really long on a single charge considering the industry standards for now. However, the Tesla Model Y manages to deliver a better overall range with its smallest battery in the segment. The Model Y has a better range than the Polestar 2 irrespective of the driving conditions.

The 2021 Polestar 2 comes with a very premium-looking interior. The cabin styling is very simple and elegant. The front row offers one of the best legroom for the driver and the co-passenger. All the controls for the driver are very easy to reach and you get a traditional driver information display which is not the case with its main rival the Tesla Model Y. The dashboard also looks very great but the space to put your stuff in the cabin is not that impressive.

The Polestar 2 offers the best legroom for the front passengers but the legroom for the rear passengers is the least in the competition. It also lacks shoulder room for the front and the rear passengers. The Tesla Model Y has managed space inside the cabin very well for the passengers in both rows. The Audi e-tron also impresses in this regard. However, the Polestar 2 manages to provide comfortable seating for a maximum of 4 passengers. The 2021 Polestar 2 looks splendid from the outside. The exterior of the car is easier on the eyes and doesn’t look overdone. The front looks astonishing with the classy and subtle bonnet. They look very attractive as they flash when you get near or away from the car. 

The 2021 Audi e-tron is the longest car in the segment and is also the heaviest of them all. The Jaguar I-Pace is shorter than the Audi e-tron and Tesla Model Y but has the longest wheelbase compared to all the rivals.
