Overview

Competing in the fullsize sedan segment, the 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom is a direct competitor to significantly cheaper rivals with higher outputs such as the Bentley Flying Spur, the Mercedes-Benz Maybach, and the BMW M760i. With standalone trim and two wheelbases, the Phantom starts off at an MSRP of $450,000. It is offered with a 6.8L Twin-Turbo V12 and 8-speed automatic transmission, producing 563 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. Through this powertrain, the Phantom manages a 0-60 of 4.6 seconds and a combined fuel economy of 14 MPG.

Buying Advice

The 2018 Phantom Sedan offers a standard wheelbase and an extended wheelbase. The latter one costs $80,000 extra but it is more comfortable. Meanwhile, there are optional packages such as Driver Assistance Systems which costs $4,125 whereas the Phantom Package demands $36,175.
