Substandard performance of the engine: Amongst the noted R35 GT-R problems, one buyer of the 2017 Nissan GT-R had reported the engine to not perform its intended function, due to the failure of the stock tensioner. As a result, a “low oil pressure” warning was illuminated and the engine required replacement.

Interior Complaints

Seats lack comfort: Apart from the Nissan GT-R’s common problems, some buyers have reported the front seats to be unsupportive. Under long driving conditions, complainants have recorded the seats to be hard and unobliging.
