The 2015 Nissan GT-R comes in three different trim options and starts at an MSRP of $103,365. The base Premium variant comes loaded with all the basic features and more. All the trims are available with the same powertrain and drivetrain options. All-wheel drive comes standard across the trims. The base Premium trim gets features like a heated front mirror, leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, a 7-inch touchscreen display, and an 11-speaker Bose sound system. We recommend going for the base Premium trim as it gets all the features that you will ever need for your daily drive. The powertrain and performance remain the same for all the trims. The Premium trim also gets the option for premium interior package and cold weather package for added features. It comes out as the best value of all the trims. You can go for the Track Edition only if you will be taking your GT-R to tracks on a regular basis, otherwise, the Premium trim will work just fine as it can also handle corners very well.

The 2015 Nissan GT-R is powered by the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that gave it the title of Godzilla. The engine produces a peak power of 545 horses and a peak torque of 463 lb-ft. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. The power figures do not tell the complete truth here as this engine performs better than some of the more powerful engines also. 

The power is readily available no matter what rave band you are in. The moment you put your foot on the gas, the engine launches within a fraction of a second without any power lag. The 2015 Nissan GT-R takes only 2.9 seconds to reach 60 mph from a standstill while it takes just 11.1 seconds to complete the quarter-mile run. The top speed is also an impressive 196 miles per hour.

The 2015 Nissan GT-R remains the fastest coupe off the line with quite a margin compared to the mighty competitors. It is faster than the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S by a complete second while the Jaguar F-Type R remains behind with a slight margin of 0.6 seconds. The 2015 Nissan GT-R is all about faster acceleration and the best performance in the class. That surely takes a dip in fuel economy figures and fuel efficiency is not one of its strong points. The 2021 Nissan GT-R delivers 16 mpg in the city driving conditions, 23 mpg on the highway, and 19 mpg of combined fuel economy. It is not one of the best in the segment but the performance justifies the mediocre fuel economy figures. It comes with a 19.5 gallons fuel tank that manages to provide a decent range of 449 miles on the highway. 

The 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S delivers the best fuel efficiency in the segment and outperforms the other two coupes with quite a good margin. The Jaguar F-Type R is the only coupe in the competition that comes with a V8 engine and that does not translate into good fuel efficiency for sure. It also manages to provide similar fuel efficiency to the Nissan GT-R but the range is slightly lower because of the smaller fuel tank capacity.

The 2015 Nissan GT-R comes in 2+2 coupe style and is spacious enough in the front row for the driver and passenger. However, the rear seats are not spacious enough to fit full-sized adults and you can use them for kids or can compensate for the cargo area. The cabin controls are very easy and everything is well within the reach of the driver. The driving position is also very sporty and comfortable at the same time. The driver gets an 8-way power-adjustable seat while the co-driver gets a 4-way manual adjustment seat. 

You can go for the premium interior package with the base Premium trim to get complete leather seats. The Black Edition comes with special interior bits with unique black and red interior inserts. The Track Edition gets carbon fiber inserts inside the cabin to give it a more sporty feel from the inside. The other parts of the cabin are also made of high-quality materials and the cabin feels premium when you sit inside.

The 2015 Nissan GT-R offers spacious front row seats and there is nothing much to complain about that. The Jaguar F-Type R is the only coupe in the segment that offers only a single row of seating. It gets a slightly bigger cargo area compared to the Nissan and Porsche, but none of the cars are practical in any aspect. The 2015 Nissan GT-R features a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display standard across all the trims and the features also remain the same for all the trims. The infotainment system feels very responsive to the touch inputs and the graphics are also fine. The brightness of the screen is not an issue and all the features are very easy to navigate. It does not support connectivity through any mobile application but directly but the connectivity via Bluetooth and USB port is supported. The audio is managed with an 11-speaker Bose audio system.
