Overview

The 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage is a subcompact hatchback offered in 3 trims, starting off at a base MSRP of $$12,995. For that price, it mainly competes with the Chevrolet Spark, the Honda Fit, and the Chevrolet Sonic. Although these vehicles compete in the same price and segment the engines are all Inline-4. Between 3 trims, the Mitsubishi Mirage offers a single powertrain. It is a 1.2L inline-3 engine making 78 horsepower and 74 lb-ft of torque. However, there is a choice between a continuously variable automatic transmission and a 5-speed manual transmission.

The Mitsubishi Mirage reaches 60 mph from zero in 11.7 seconds and manages a combined fuel economy of between 36 and 39 mpg. While we're on the topic of choices, the 8 striking colors the Mitsubishi Mirage comes in really pull you towards itself.

Buying Advice

The GT trim was found to offer much more technical features and especially packages; like the “protection package”, and “parking assist package” can really come in handy while still maintaining an excellent budget.

              A Fun Car To Drive

Pros - ["gets good gass mileage", "is fun to drive"]

Cons - ["i prefer a hatchback", "not enough storage space"]

My G4 runs great and is dependable. It has a 3-cylinder engine, which gets great mileage, yet is still peppy and can get out of its own way. The car is very comfortable, it fits my 6 foot frame quite well.
