Under the price of $112,700, there are several cars that have more power and better acceleration but it not the power it the way the power output is handled and that’s what makes GT coupe so special.

The AMG GT is not the best in the class, as the Jaguar F-type features a massive 5.0L 550hp V8 engine with 502 lb-ft of torque output makes it the best in the class and the 911 Carrera stays the last when it comes to number of horses but of course that alone does not decides the performance and capabilities of a car.

Ride and Handling

Well the AMG GT is performance coupe specially engineered to offer track level performance but it is also capable of daily driving. The AMG series is pretty famous for their performance but they have some flaws, which is totally unknown to the GT coupe. The AMG dynamic select features let you choose between Comfort, sport, sport+.
As you switch between the modes the steering response, transmission, suspension and power output changes as the car goes more aggressive and the exhaust gets louder. The AMG GT is so well engineered so that you can hit almost 90% of the throttle while cornering without a body roll. It retractable spoiler increases traction and keeps vehicle stable while cornering or accelerating hard.
Braking
The AMG GT is 3560 lbs. supercar that can do 0-60 mph in 3.9 sec and so it needs some intense braking prowess. The AMG GT is equipped with an AMG high-performance composite braking system which includes 14.2 inch ventilated front and rear disc brakes made of carbon-fiber-reinforced with ceramic for better deceleration and is 40% lighter then brakes of composite materials.
The AMG GT takes only 96 ft. to get from 60-0 mph. and that equals to a race track braking performance. The AMG GT is also equipped with features like 4-wheels anti-lock braking system, electronic stability control, traction control, brake drying and emergency braking preparation/assists for more intelligent and effective braking.
