Overview

The 2013 Lexus IS 350 makes for an excellent contender in the compact luxury sedan class. With just one trim on offer, the Lexus IS 350 has a base MSRP of $40,320, with prices going all the way up to MSRP $42,780, competing directly with the BMW 3 Series, the Audi A4, and the Mercedes Benz C-Class. Only a 3.5L V6 engine is offered, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Together, they produce 306 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 5.6 seconds, the IS 350 maintains a combined fuel economy of 22 MPG. Lexus offers the IS 350 in 9 stunning colors, with the Deep Sea Mica being a particular favorite of ours.

Buying Advice

Despite facing strong competition from top dog German sedans, the Lexus IS350 makes a strong statement in every way. However, unlike its rivals, the buying option comes down to the drivetrain selection. You can either choose the rear-wheel drive or the all-wheel drive, but our recommendation is the all-wheel drive version which would cost you an additional $2,000 but is totally worth it. Some significant features that come with the IS350 are heated mirrors, sunroof xenon headlamps, LED running lights,eight-way power front seats, leather upholstery, and more.
