Cramped inside, moderate cargo space and pricey compared to other SUVs of roughly similar capabilities, few are as stylish as the Evoque but many deliver much more function for the money - Kellybluebook
With the 2020 Range Rover Evoque, you won't need to forfeit a comfortable cabin to have a competent 4WD vehicle. Grained leather seats, soft-touch doors and trim, and brush aluminum are among its highlights. Inside, the Evoque has a swanky and well-laid interior which is much inspired by Discovery while the infotainment setup has been lifted from the Velar. The front leather seats are comfortable with ample bolstering, it is power-adjustable, and comes with a heated and ventilated function to make for a comfortable traveling experience.
Rear seating quarters are cramped, though that's common for a compact crossover. Although ingress and egress at the rear are easy due to the rear wheels being pushed back in the rear bumper. Six-footers seating back to back will have snug legroom and the headroom will be tight but for people lower than that the space is adequate. New for the 2020 Evoque is the Land Rover's Touch Pro infotainment system that comes with a 10-inch touchscreen screen which on the higher trims gets upgraded to Touch Pro Duo and thus adds another 10-inch display for HVAC controls, heated seats, etc.
As standard, the Evoque comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity, navigation, Wi-Fi hotspot, etc. The base model gets a six-speaker sound system while the higher trims come with a choice of 10- or 14-speaker Meridian sound system which is available as an optional extra on the base trim.
The four-door Evoque even though being a compact SUV offers a generous 21.5 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats and 50.5 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down. The rear seats can be folded in 40/20/40-split to increase the space. For added convenience, you get a power liftgate which can be upgraded to a gesture-controlled liftgate that opens the boot lid by just waving your foot under the rear bumper.

When it comes to the cabin space the front headroom and shoulder room are snug on the Evoque and taller folks will be at ease on the likes of Audi Q5 and the BMW X3. Moving to the rear seats the major difference among the SUVs here is of the legroom on offer. The Evoque offers the least amount of rear leg space while the Audi Q5 offers the best rear legroom among all. Behind the rear seats, the BMW X3 offers the best cargo capacity of 28.7 cubic feet followed by the Q5 while the GLC-Class offers the least amount of space behind the rear seats for cargo.
