A user noticed excess smog coming from the exhaust and when it was taken to a dealership, the user was told to replace the engine, the manufacturer was not informed of the failure. Another user had to replace the engine because it suddenly stopped and failed to start after.
- Steering issue: A user noticed the steering wheel had become hard to turn due to the SUV's engine becoming hot causing the steering to become stiff.
