Overview

The 2012 Infiniti G37x sedan makes for an excellent contender in the compact sedan class. With just one base trim and two special edition trims on offer, the Infiniti G37 has a base MSRP of $38,500. For this price, it competes directly with the BMW 3 Series 335i, the less powerful Audi A4, and the Mercedes Benz C-Class C350 Sport. Only a 3.7 L V6 engine is offered, mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. Together, they produce 328 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 5.4 seconds, the G37x maintains a combined fuel economy of 20 MPG. Infiniti offers the G37x in 8 stunning colors, with the Vibrant Red being a particular favorite of ours.

Buying Advice

Although the G37x Limited Edition is close to an $8,000 premium over the base trim, it comes fully loaded and thus justifies its price well enough. Not to mention the unique styling elements that it builds upon also enhance its appeal.
