Overview

For 2018, Toyota has completely revamped the Camry line-up and it comes with a sporty and sharper design that reflects the dynamic drive quality this car offers. The 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid packs in more space than before and carries almost all the features that one would expect from a midsize hybrid sedan.

The 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid comes with a 2.5-liter inline-4 DOHC hybrid engine mated to a CVT gearbox making 208 hp and 163 lb-ft of torque. Apart from the styling and drive, the fuel efficiency has gone up and now offers a combined figure of 52 MPG. The Hybrid sedan segment is competitive with other cars like the Kia Optima Hybrid, the Chevrolet Volt, and the Honda Accord Hybrid But Toyota with its new and improved Camry Hybrid manages to offer better value.

Buying Advice

Toyota has managed to offer an exciting driving car that has hybrid efficiency without eating up a lot of cargo space. The engine does produce the best in class power figure but a little extra torque would have made the drive sportier nonetheless, the 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid handles great due to the new dual-wishbone setup that replaces the struts. $27,800 is a fair base price but we recommend picking the SE trim which sits in the middle as it has blacked-out styling elements with larger wheels which are all worth the additional $1,700.
