Overview

The 2011 Scion xB wagon is a proud member of the subcompact wagon segment, locking horns with cars like the Kia Soul, the Scion xB, and the Chevrolet HHR. Spread across 3 trims, the Cube hatchback starts off at a base price of MSRP of $16,000 and carries on to $19,355. Its 2.4L inline-4 engine and 5-speed manual transmission give the SUV 158 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. With that, it manages a 0-60 of 8.6 seconds and boasts a towing capacity of 3500 pounds. Moving to fuel economy, the Cube hatchback gets a combined EPA rating of 24 MPG, which is just average for the class, with most of its rivals reaching similar numbers. It also has a ground clearance of 5.1 inches. 

Buying Advice

The Release trim 8.0 adds quite a few features but is not really worth the price tag it carries. Hence, going with the base trim makes a whole lot of sense. Some standout features you get in the base trim are air-conditioning, cruise control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel with audio controls, driver seat height adjustment, etc. On top of that, you also have access to a truckload of optional features to make your xB better than ever.
