Overview

The 2015 Scion xB makes for an excellent contender in the subcompact wagon class. With 2 trims on offer, the Scion xB has a base MSRP of $19,685, with prices going all the way up to MSRP $18,070 for the automatic transmission version, competing directly with the Kia Soul, the Fiat 500L, and the Subaru XV Crosstrek. Only a 2.4L inline-4 engine is offered, mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission with 5-speed manual transmission as optional for the base trim. Together, they produce 158 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 8.5 seconds, the xB maintains a combined fuel economy of 24 MPG. Scion offers the xB in 7 stunning colors, with the Nautical Blue being a particular favorite of ours. 

Buying Advice

Our recommendation would be the base trim with a manual transmission since it makes driving quite engaging when compared to the automatic. On the features front, the base comes equipped with features such as cruise control, rearview camera, air conditioning, etc as standard.
