... the issue. I've also had my gas tank replaced (a major job) because of the highly characteristic rattling issue at idle. My question: Have these extremely basic issues of shifting, wind buffeting, gas tank rattling been engineered out of the car on the newer 21,22,23 models? ... new Cayenne! Update (7-28-20) Still love the Cayenne. Had a few more issues with car than I thought we should have. Replaced all taillights for issues with edges of lights, software issues, and waiting 9 months for a new gas tank as it is making noise when idling for more than a minute or so. Update (2/14/21) Very disappointed in Porsche. Replaced the gas tank in late 2020 only to have the same "rattling noise"Read More

The 2019 Porsche Cayenne is a major miss in its reliability this year with a J.D power rating of just 79. It scores merely 74 in quality and reliability which increases to 86 in driving experience and 88 in dealership experience. However, the rating dips to 74 again in terms of its resale value.

Costing an MSRP of $65,700, the Porsche Cayenne 2019 strives against the Audi Q8, BMW X5, and Maserati Levante. Its 335 hp V6 grit under the hood along with high-end customization further helps it out in this venture till the very end just like manageable maintenance and repair expenses of $7,089 and $3,021 respectively.
