Overview

The 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe is a midsize coupe offered in two trims, starting off at a base MSRP of $84,300. For that price, it mainly competes with the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Coupe, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class E550 Coupe which has the least sticker price here, and indirectly with the Jaguar F-TYPE R Coupe which belongs to the compact coupe segment. Available as a two-trim option, the 911 Carrera Coupe offers a single powertrain. It is a 3.4L flat-6 engine making 350 horsepower and 287 lb-ft of torque. However, there is a choice between a 7-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The 911 Carrera Coupe reaches 60 mph from zero in 4.4 seconds with the manual transmission, which gets pumped up to 3.8 seconds with the automatic transmission. Depending on the drivetrain, the 911 Carrera Coupe can manage a combined fuel economy between 22 and 23 mpg. Buying Advice

The Carrera 4 with an all-wheel drive system is the perfect trim for daily driving as well as cross-country drives. Boasting an all-wheel drive system, the handling is way better than what can experience in the base trim. The Carrera 4 also comes with a wide rear fender.
