2024 Mazda CX-50 Premium

The 2024 Mazda CX-50 Premium variant comes with a regular 2.5L Inline-4 engine producing 187 horsepower alongside 186 lb-ft of torque. Being mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, the SUV takes 8.6 seconds to reach from 0-60 mph.

2024 Mazda CX-50 Meridian Edition 

The Meridian Edition of the 2024 Mazda CX-50 boasts the same 4-cylinder engine but gets a turbo enhancement. Thus the power output of the Mazda SUV jumps from 186 hp to 227 hp and the torque goes up to 310 lb-ft. Its 0-60 mph sprint also wraps up in 6.7 seconds. Meanwhile, Motortrend also claims their 0-60 mph timing to be 6.7 seconds.

2024 Mazda CX-50 Turbo Premium Plus

Similar to the Meridian Edition, the Turbo Premium Plus is also equipped with the turbo I-4 powertrain pushing out 227 horsepower. It takes only 6.7 seconds for the SUV to go from 0-60 mph which is 0.1 seconds faster than the number given by Motortrend.

2023 Mazda CX-50 2.5 S Preferred Plus

The 2023 Mazda CX-50 2.5 S Preferred Plus features the base 187-hp Inline-4 engine from the 2024 model year. As for the acceleration timing, the car takes 8.8 seconds to reach the 0-60 mph mark. However, Edmunds testing shows the 0-60 mph timing for the car to be 9.5 seconds.
